Retreat with your family and friends to the Sabbath Center for a little R & R  (rest, relaxation, renewal, recreation, respite, religion – the options are yours).  Located adjacent to Lake Carroll in the countryside of NW Illinois, we offer peace and quiet for those who want to get away from the busyness of their daily lives.   Enjoy the birds, butterflies, deer, turkey and other wildlife that inhabit our five acres of prairie grass and wild flowers.  Or enjoy conversation and games on the lawn, on the deck or inside the house or lodge.   Lake Carroll Golf Course and Club House are open to the public, and many other amenities are available for family and friends of Lake Carroll property owners.  There are many more area attractions for those seeking a little more action, and there is even wireless internet if you need it. 

Our facilities include a Retreat house that can sleep up to 12 people comfortably and a Lodge that can sleep 18.  The great room in the lodge is large enough for 30 people to gather,  and it has a projector for making presentations from your laptop, or watch a dvd in surround sound on a 6x8 foot screen.  Both the lodge and house have fully equipped kitchens to prepare your own meals, or local caterer’s can provide them if you prefer.
